It’s that time of year again: The end of one season and beginning of another.

In the north, Autumn ends and Winter begins the season of slumber that ultimately segues to Spring and the hope of new life.

In the south, the blossoms of Spring produce the fruits of Summer and a promise of abundance.

Every religion attaches some significance to this time and every culture has traditional celebrations.

Wherever you are and whatever your beliefs, may you make family your priority: family of blood, family of friendship, and the wider family called humanity.
